Couples in Janakpuri, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh and Tilak Nagar searching for an IVF centre in West Delhi often compare clinics across the city. The Pink Line from Rajouri Garden reaches Lajpat Nagar without a change.
The IVF Journey, Step by Step
- Ovarian stimulation — 8–12 days of hormone injections.
- Monitoring — scans and blood tests to track follicle growth.
- Trigger injection — to mature the eggs.
- Egg retrieval — a short procedure under anaesthesia.
- Fertilisation — IVF or ICSI in the lab.
- Embryo transfer — usually on day 3 or day 5.
- Pregnancy test — about two weeks later.
What Happens at the First Visit
- A detailed talk about your medical history, cycles, past pregnancies and earlier treatments.
- Basic tests for the woman: AMH blood test, hormone profile and a transvaginal ultrasound to count follicles.
- Semen analysis for the male partner.
- A tube test (HSG or sono-HSG) if needed.
- A clear treatment plan — timed intercourse, IUI, IVF or ICSI — based on the reports, not guesswork.
